Automatic Drive ? A standard feature in 2020

By 2020, Nissan will complete the Autonomous Drive program and will offer automatic drive on its standard production models. This is the ambitious goal announced by President Carlos Ghosn at Nissan 360, celebration of the 80th anniversary of the manufacturer. As mentioned in previous articles, cars of the future will include laser scanners and cameras to capture information about positions, signs, traffic, obstacles, while vehicle's computer will decide related vehicle action (acceleration, braking, steering, .. .). Autonomous Drive will be, as per the project goals, a great help for disabled and elderly people, but everyone could take benefit from it.
